Voyara

Feature

WhatsApp conversations, in your dashboard

Connect your own WhatsApp Business number and your customers' WhatsApp messages land in an inbox in your admin panel, in real time. Your staff reply from there. Of everything in Voyara, this is the one with genuine setup — so here's the honest version.

Your own verified Meta WhatsApp Business account
Setup
A Meta app, an access token, and a webhook
Replies
Free-form within 24h of the customer’s last message

What it is once it's running

Every WhatsApp conversation with your customers appears in a WhatsApp inbox in your dashboard, next to Support and AI Chat. New messages arrive live with no refresh. Your staff type replies in the thread and they send from your WhatsApp number. Delivery and read receipts show on your outbound messages.

It is completely isolated: your WhatsApp conversations are yours alone — never visible to Voyara staff, another agency, or the platform.

The setup — plainly, step by step

  1. 1

Get your business verified with Meta

This is the slow part, and it is entirely between you and Meta. Meta reviews your business before it will let you send WhatsApp messages at any real volume. This can take days and sometimes involves back-and-forth with Meta. Voyara cannot speed this up.
  2. 2

Create an app in the Meta developer console and add the WhatsApp product

From there you get a Phone Number ID and can generate a permanent access token.
  3. 3

Paste the Phone Number ID and access token into Voyara

On the WhatsApp Business settings page. The token is encrypted at rest and never shown back to you.
  4. 4

    Point Meta’s webhook at Voyara

The settings page shows you a Callback URL and a Verify Token to paste into Meta’s webhook configuration, and tells you to subscribe to the "messages" field. Optionally add your Meta App Secret to enable request-signature verification.

Limitations — stated plainly

The 24-hour customer service window

WhatsApp only lets a business send a free-form message within 24 hours of the customer's most recent message. Outside that window, WhatsApp requires a pre-approved message template. Voyara enforces this: if a conversation is outside the window, the reply box is disabled and explains why. Sending pre-approved templates is not built into the inbox yet — that is a known gap.

Other notes

  • You need your own Meta Business account and your own WhatsApp number. There is no shared Voyara WhatsApp number for agencies.
  • Media messages (images, documents) from customers are recorded with their caption and type; downloading the media file itself is not built in yet.
  • Meta bills you directly for WhatsApp conversations per its own pricing — service replies inside the 24-hour window are free; templates are charged.
  • The platform runs its own separate WhatsApp integration for talking to agencies — that is a different number and a different inbox, fully isolated from yours.
