Feature
Your customers pay you — directly, into your own Stripe account
Voyara does not run a shared payment pool. Every agency connects its own Stripe account, and money moves straight from the traveller to you. Voyara is never a party to the transaction.

The model, and why it's built this way
On the Payment settings page you paste your Stripe secret key and publishable key, and a webhook signing secret. You choose whether the storefront runs in Test or Live mode. From then on, every checkout — flights, tours and packages — creates a payment on your Stripe account. The funds settle to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule. Voyara never touches them.
This is deliberate. Your agency should own its own money flow, its own chargeback exposure, its own payout timing and its own customer relationship. A shared processor would put Voyara between you and your revenue, and that is exactly what this platform is built not to do.

How a payment actually flows
- The customer checks out on your storefront. Voyara creates a Stripe PaymentIntent on your account, tagged with your tenant id.
- Stripe collects the card payment and (for supported methods) handles 3-D Secure.
- Stripe calls your webhook. Voyara verifies the signature against your webhook secret, then marks the booking paid and records the exact amount and currency charged.
- If a payment fails, the booking is flagged and — if you use email notifications — the customer gets a branded "payment didn’t go through" email with a link to retry.
Requirements and limitations — stated plainly
No fallback — you must connect Stripe to take payments
Other things worth knowing
- You configure one webhook URL in your own Stripe dashboard, pointing at Voyara. The setup page shows you the exact URL and the events to subscribe to.
- Refunds, disputes and payout issues are handled in your own Stripe dashboard — Voyara reads payment status, it does not manage your Stripe account.
- Multi-currency amounts are stored and reported per currency, never converted or summed across currencies.
- Your Voyara subscription itself is billed separately, on Voyara’s own Stripe — that is the only money that flows to Voyara.
