Voyara

Feature

Run your storefront on your own domain

Every agency gets a free subdomain the moment it signs up. When you're ready, connect your own domain — book.youragency.com or your apex domain — with real DNS verification and an automatic HTTPS certificate. Available on every plan.

What you get by default

Sign-up gives you a subdomain immediately — yourname on Voyara's domain. It's live in minutes, already has HTTPS, and never needs any DNS setup. Many agencies run on it indefinitely. A custom domain is an upgrade in polish, not a requirement.

Connecting your own domain

  1. 1

Enter your domain in the Custom Domain settings page

Voyara generates the exact DNS records you need: a CNAME pointing your domain at a stable Voyara hostname, and a TXT record under a _voyara-verify prefix containing a one-time token.
  2. 2

Add both records at your DNS provider

The CNAME routes traffic to us. The TXT record proves you actually control the domain — a CNAME alone only shows someone pointed DNS at us, not that they were allowed to.
  3. 3

    Click Verify

Voyara checks both records over DNS. Once the CNAME resolves to us and the TXT token matches, the domain is marked verified.
  4. 4

Wait a few minutes for HTTPS

The first time a browser hits your verified domain, an HTTPS certificate is requested from Let’s Encrypt automatically. This provisioning step takes a short while — usually a couple of minutes — and only happens once.

Limitations — stated plainly

DNS propagation and the first-request delay

Two waits are outside anyone's control. DNS changes take time to propagate (minutes to hours depending on your provider and TTL), so “Verify” may not succeed on the first try. And the HTTPS certificate is only issued on the first real request to the domain, so there can be a brief window right after verification where the site isn't reachable over HTTPS yet. Give it a few minutes and refresh.

Other notes

  • Nothing in Voyara ever trusts a domain on the CNAME alone — the storefront only serves your domain once it is both connected and verified.
  • If you change the domain string later, it has to re-prove ownership — a re-entered or different domain never inherits the previous one’s verified status.
  • You point DNS at a stable Voyara hostname, never a raw IP, so infrastructure changes on our side never require you to touch your DNS again.
